your self esteem should not be tied to your money or job

i had a friend message me on telegram, he said he felt worthless because he was fired, but why? every single human being on this planet has something amazing they can offer society if given the opportunity! we are all unique and gifted in different talents and your self worth should go beyond the dollars in your bank account

I am good at it, but I really do dislike this capitalistic system... I wish everyone could be free to create as much as they want, not just the 1%... but i don't know if there are any alternatives •︵•
